How does the CMA Nominations Process Work:

Canadian Mortgage Industry Professionals are invited to nominate their peers, their brokerage or any individual or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to the Mortgage industry in Canada during 2011.

This year we will be presenting awards to winners in 21 categories, including both awards for individuals and awards for brokerages.

Here are some FAQs about the nominations process:

  • If you wish to make a nomination in one or more awards categories, you are invited to visit our dedicated nominations page.
  • Each of the 21 award categories are listed on this page. Under each award is space for you to include the name and details of the person/organization you wish to nominate in that category.
  • You can make a nomination in as few or as many awards categories as you wish (i.e. if you wish to make a nomination for all 21 awards or just for one, you may do so).
  • You can nominate the same person or organization for more than one award.
  • If you wish to be considered for an award yourself, you may ask your peers to login to the nominations page and submit a nomination.
  • Once the nominations process closes on February 24th, the results will be analysed and the finalists in each category will be invited to submit supporting material to submit to our panel of expert judges drawn from across the industry and, indeed, the country
  • These submission forms will then be sent for review to our Judges, senior members of the Mortgage industry from throughout Canada (Judges to be announced soon).
  • Once the judges have reviewed all of the submissions forms, their selections in each category will be forwarded to our dedicated auditing house, PwC for final due diligence and confirmation.
  • The winners will be announced at the Canadian Mortgage Awards 2012, at The Carlu, Toronto on Friday June 1st 2012.
